  MEAT LOAF WITH SPICY TOPPING

  2 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 8-ounce can tomato sauce
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water
2 tablespons brown sugar
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons dry mustard
  Instructions
  Combine ground beef, onion, bread crumbs, egg, 1/2 can of tomato sauce, salt, pepper, 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard and
Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly. Pack in a 5 x 9 inch loaf pan. Combine remaining tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard. Pour over meat loaf. Bake in moderate oven, 300 degrees for 90 minutes.
